Coming 11 and 12 September 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City, policy makers, private sector representatives, academics, non-state actors and international partners from across the forest sector will examine the state of play of timber legality assurance in Viet Nam.
The event will leverage the multitude of efforts and commitments in Viet Nam for ensuring timber legality and traceability, including the implementation of the Voluntary Partnership Agreement on Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade (VPA FLEGT) and demonstrate the power of multistakeholder collaboration. It will highlight the impacts of the multi-stakeholder collaboration and feature the closing of the German–Vietnamese technical cooperation project “Support for the implementation of the FLEGT VPA in Viet Nam”.
