groundtable explores the socio-anthropological dimensions of culinary heritage and migration. groundtable is an interdisciplinary research-led artist duo based in Weimar (Germany) since 2024. Working across spatial, graphic, and participatory formats, the collective creates sensorial encounters that centre food as method and metaphor. Their practice investigates the notion of a universal food identity and how culinary knowledge migrates across borders, generations, and contexts. Through process-based, site-specific formats, they engage visual-graphic publications and participatory workshops that foreground migration, identity, and social relationships.
