Valentina Volpe Andreazza is an Italian mezzo-soprano trained at the Conservatory of Padua and the Accademia Teatro alla Scala. For her, opera does not belong in ivory towers. She has brought opera to elderly care centres, hospitals, and Italy’s first Alzheimer’s village. What she has believed in and worked towards throughout her career is simple: every person, regardless of circumstance, carries within them a voice, a story, and a desire to be heard.
This workshop is built around that very spirit: a welcoming space where people can meet, converse, sing together, listen to one another, and improvise; where different voices and different ways of experiencing the world come together through the shared language of music.
Participants will learn and rehearse selected songs from Valentina’s concert programme, pieces chosen to build a small bridge between Italian and Vietnamese musical traditions. Participants will also have the opportunity to perform alongside Valentina on the stage of Chuong Vang Theatre as part of the festival programme.
The workshop is open to everyone and requires no prior musical experience. Participants from all backgrounds are warmly welcome, and the organisers will make every effort to ensure that everyone can take part as fully and comfortably as possible.

Valentina Volpe Andreazza
Valentina Volpe Andreazza is an Italian singer and performing artist who embraces music as a tool for cultural diplomacy and human connection. Alongside her musical career, she has an academic background in international relations and anthropology. She is the founder of the Music4Diplomacy network and President of the European Music Centre in Italy (CEM Italia). Her international career has taken her to stages across Europe and Asia, including China, Mongolia, and Vietnam.

Francesco Morettini
Francesco Morettini is a pianist, composer, and producer whose work ranges from contemporary music to television productions and international collaborative projects. He has composed music for RAI and Mediaset and has collaborated with leading artists including Gianni Morandi, Renato Zero, Mina, Plácido Domingo, and Ennio Morricone. His artistic language combines contemporary composition, melodic expression, and cinematic inspiration, creating a distinctive dialogue between music, emotion, and imagery.
