Arbeitskreis Deutscher Internationaler Residenzprogramme
In the Arbeitskreis Deutscher Internationaler Residenzprogramme (short: ADIR, i.e.: Working Group of German International Residency Programmes), over 20 cultural institutions exchange ideas about the development of residency work in such areas as sustainability, families and partners, inclusion and international protection programmes. The Working Group coordinates matters relating to cultural policy and raises public awareness of the opportunities of artist-in-residence work.

The residency programme run jointly by the Department of Arts and Culture of the City of Munich, the “apartment of art“ (Munich), the Goethe-Institut in Taipei and the Taipei Culture Foundation has existed since 2017. Artist Sophie Schmidt visited Taipei with the programme in 2021. -
Tarabya Cultural Academy has been part of Kunsthaus Kreuzberg/Bethanien in Berlin for 10 years. -
The artist residency “Stellare in the Sea” as part of Zones Portuaires 2021 – Atlas of Mediterranean Liquidity. In Genua’s aquarium, sound artists collect audio material from the water and dolphins to create new compositions. -
Theatre workshop for people with and without disabilities in Peking as part of the “Teehaus 798” project. -
Kenian artist KABEAUSHÉ was a guest artist at the Co-Creation Residency of Musicboard Berlin. The residency took place in Kampala, Uganda and Berlin in 2022. -
