Africa-Europe Partnerships For Culture

The Africa-Europe Partnerships For Culture is a €30 million EU-funded programme implemented by Goethe-Institut, Expertise France, Institut Français, UNESCO and EUNIC Global. Through three distinct components serving the complete arts and culture ecosystem, AECP reshapes cultural cooperation, exchange, co-creation and dissemination within Africa and between Africa and Europe whilst promoting intercultural dialogue and mutual understanding.

Developed with artists and cultural professionals from Sub-Saharan Africa, the programme ensures African voices remain central throughout implementation.
