Open Call: Grants for Creative and Artistic Practitioners

Southern Africa Component
Deadline: 5 October 2026

The Africa-Europe Partnerships for Culture: Southern Africa component invites artists and creatives to engage with heritage narratives from six Southern African countries, collaboratively reimagining them through a contemporary creative lens.
 
Selected practitioners will receive a €6,000 grant and participate in a six-month heritage narrative development process phase led by heritage organisations, culminating in three co-produced creative works.

Open Call: Mobility Grants for Individual Artists and Culture Professionals

Sub-Saharan Africa Component
Deadline: 16 September 2026

This mobility scheme primarily supports transcontinental (Africa–Africa) short-term mobility or artists and culture professionals across all sectors. European artists and organisations may also apply, provided they have an established partnership with an African artist, institution, or organisation.

Open Call: Professional Mobility Grants for Performing Arts and Music

Sub-Saharan Africa component

Deadline: 30 September 2026

This grant call supports the mobility of cultural professionals, networking intiatives, artistic cooperation and mutual learning amoung African and European stakeholders. 
The call invites international organisations and events hosting delegations of performing arts and music professionals to apply.

Open Call: Grants for the Circulation of Performing Arts and Music

Sub-Saharan Africa Component

Deadline: 30 September 2026

This call supports the dissemination and circulation of African artistic productions across Europe and Africa with the objective to strengthen the visibility of African artists and artistic teams. It support their integration into professional networks and expands their performance and presentation opportunities and facilitate access to new audiences.
