Thi-Minh-Tam Ta is a psychiatrist with a passion. Originally from Vietnam, she has lived and worked in Berlin for 13 years. She didn’t find it easy to cope with the culture, especially at the beginning.

Dr. Thi-Minh-Tam Ta …

is a senior consultant at the Department of Psychiatry and University Outpatient Clinic at Charité Berlin’s Campus Benjamin Franklin. She is head of the Outpatient Department of the Psychiatric Institute, as well as the specialist Outpatient Department for Viennese migrants. Dr. Ta was born in Vietnam in 1982 and graduated in medicine at Hanoi Medical University. She came to Berlin in 2006, where she completed her residency in psychiatry and psychotherapy. She has worked at the Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin, Campus Benjamin Franklin, since 2010. 

The Department of Psychiatry and University Outpatient Clinic …

… at Charité Berlin’s Campus Benjamin Franklin is a research and teaching hospital as well as offering patient care. Its scientific focus is within the field of transcultural psychiatry and psychotherapy, clinical and translational research, and global mental health.
