Do No Harm

People depend on each other – and often they have to trust another person without knowing them. This is especially true in the health sector. "Do No Harm" is considered one of the promises of the Hippocratic Oath. But when do we trust scientific findings and medical experts? And why?

Award-winning game developers and theatre makers Coney have been commissioned by the Goethe-Institut London to create a new game around the theme of trust in medical experts and evidence. Coney's games enable participants to experience self-efficacy: What are the consequences of my actions?

The game was performed for the first time at the Now Play This festival from 1-9 April 2023. Now Play This is a festival for experimental game design.

The game traveled to Weimar as well. The session at the Kultursymposium Weimar was a mixture of presentation and gameplay, engaging in conversations with other players and using smartphone devices.

You will be free to choose to join in and play, or to watch and reflect.
We invite participants to trust us.
We invite you to be curious.
We invite you to question.
We invite you to ask… “what might this lead to?”
