Live from Weimar

Live aus Weimar © Jannis Uffrecht
16. June
14:45-14:55 CEST
If the coronavirus didn’t exist, we would all be meeting in beautiful Weimar in mid-June for a three-day festival filled with stimulating conversations in a relaxed atmosphere, global debates, performances and artistic installations, live music, ice cream, delicious drinks and nights of dancing. Instead, we are sitting at home in front of our screens and following the 2021 Kultursymposium programme online. In order to bring at least a little of Weimar’s summer atmosphere out into the world, we go live to Goethe’s hometown, witnessing how cultural life is slowly beginning to flourish again after a long Corona winter - including an exhibition on the theme of "Generations" at Galerie Eigenheim in Weimarhallenpark.

Host: Vivian Perkovic and Kirsten Münch (Correspondent in Weimar)
