Das Blaue Sofa

For the Kultursymposium Weimar 2021, Bertelsmann together with ZDF, Deutschlandfunk Kultur and 3sat produced a special edition of the literary format “Das blaue Sofa”, which was recorded in the architecturally impressive Bauhaus Museum Weimar. The participants include four authors whose works touch on different aspects of this year’s festival topic “generations”: Berlin YouTuber and journalist Rayk Anders, Romanian-Swiss writer Dana Grigorcea, President of the Bundestag Wolfgang Schäuble, and Austrian author Daniel Wisser. On 16 June at 5 p.m., we will present excerpts from exclusive conversations, in which all four authors share their views on their own generations, and in what ways generational issues are reflected in their books. The program will be introduced by Immanuel Hermreck, Chief Human Resources Officer at Bertelsmann. The full-length version of the special will be available on our website on 16 June from 7 p.m. and will be broadcast on 3sat on 20 June at 12 p.m.
