Viktória Citráková

Viktória Citráková works at the intersection of literature and visual art. She holds MA degrees in Performance from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Brno and in Theory of Interactive Media from Masaryk University. Her literary work has received recognition through the Ivan Krasko Prize for Best Debut, a nomination for the Václav Burian Award for contemporary poetry, and publication in the Literature Board of the New York–based independent platform COPY.

Alongside her artistic practice, she writes reviews and essays for platforms such as Artalk and Kapitál. Her current reporting focuses on the emotional and social realities of young people living through a time marked by war, political instability, and uncertainty. She is particularly interested in how individual experiences reflect broader questions of collective vulnerability, intimacy, and resilience within the contemporary socio-political climate.
