Filmmaking Workshop

Zamarin Wahdat, an award-winning filmmaker based in Hamburg, conducted a two-day workshop with members of the Afghan community in Khirkee. The participants were taught how to use their mobile phones to shoot and edit, and created a series of short films that depicted their daily lives. 

These films were screened as part of the Simurgh Festival and were followed by a panel discussion with the workshop participants and Zamarin.
