Bangkok: Foodscape © ReThink Urban Spaces The main objective of this youth-led campaign was to design a walking route of eating culture in the Hua Lumphong area that everyone can follow on their own. Based on a gamification design, it entails restaurants recommended by as a result of a field survey taking into account the diversity that represents community’s identity. The youth group led several city walks around the Hua Lamphong area in partnership with different organizations such Feel Trip, WePark, Jump Master Skate Hau and others, to introduce the area. The group initiated the project by visiting communities, collecting data and interviewing restaurant operators in the area. On October 8 and 9, 2022, the group organized a two-day workshop in collaboration with Tamni Hostel titled "Tastes of Hua Lamphong". The objective was to invite people interested on the issue of how food drives the design and use of public spaces and invited communities to join activities that allowed them to discover the Hua Lamphong area with its diverse culture and gastronomy. Some members of the group also participated in a Thai PBS program called "City Journey" with vlogs on the subject. Further walks were organized under the Bangkok Design Week and the Unfolding Bangkok Festival in February and March respectively.
