In February 2025, we attended with three colleagues the Heritage Language Week in Frankfurt am Main. 

The exciting programme at the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences included interesting lectures, get-togethers, lively coffee breaks and a poster presentation round in which many projects around the topic of heritage language education across Europe were presented. 

It was enriching to exchange views in this network on various professional and educational policy aspects of heritage language teaching.

Sabine Brachmann-Bosse and Elisabeth Schmidt from the Goethe-Institut Sweden presented the current status of the ‘Your language counts!’ project in a poster.
 Dr. Tatjana Atanasoska gave a presentation on the evaluation concept and initial results of ‘Your language counts!’ for our partner, the University of Duisburg-Essen.
