Editorial
EditorialSubject: authors’ choice
Dear Readers,
We have decided that for the second issue, September 2011, of Synergasia journal we will not focus on a particular topic, as has happened since 2007, but to welcome any library topic. Observing the big number of articles submitted to the current issue, we consider that we took the right decision. The articles refer to library activities and experiences of librarians, e-books, medical and school libraries, the future and importance of libraries, library partnerships and their activities. They originate from Greece, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United States of America.
There is also a selection of News in the pertinent section. It is interesting to read the interview with Mr.Yohannes Gebregeorgis, librarian and author, known as the founder of the donkey-mobile libraries in Ethiopia.
Finally, we wish to thank the contributors to the present issue and to announce that the issue no.3 (December 2011) will not put any limitations to a particular topic. We welcome authors to write on a library topic of their preference. It is advised that the articles are submitted by December 10, 2011.
Enjoy your reading!
Reminder: Only the subscribers to the SYNERGASIA Newsletter will be informed on the activities of the Committee for the Support of Libraries and of each issue of Synergasia.
