For the first time the Science Film Festival takes place in cooperation with the Sharjah Discovery Center. The festival program also presents from 24 to 28 October 2017 science shows, workshops and activities for school groups and regular museum visitors. Our partners for the festival are Nutty Scientists with a live Scientific Show on stage.
The Science Film Festival presents a selection of international films focused on this year’s theme WELCOME TO THE AGE OF HUMANS. All films are translated and synchronized into Arabic and/or English and screened in the premises of the Sharjah Discovery Center. The films will be complemented with experiments, hands on activities and games to explain and re-enact the scientific correlations.
The film selection is available also online.
The films and events are registration-based and free of charge.
