As part of the think professional! project, the Goethe-Institut Kamerun gives motivated pupils from Cameroon the opportunity to gain their first practical experience in the world of work. In cooperation with local companies and institutions, we are creating a platform that shows young people career prospects in their own country and helps them to discover their talents in a targeted manner. The Goethe-Institut provides information at schools, prepares the participants and supports everyone involved throughout the entire process.

An internship is more than just a glimpse into the professional world – it is an opportunity to get to know yourself better, discover new perspectives and gain important experience. With your motivation and curiosity, you actively shape this path. The Goethe-Institut Kamerun, parents and teachers will accompany you along the way – together we will create an environment in which you can grow, try new things and develop your strengths. We look forward to walking this path with you.

1. Call for applications	December: Information event January: Registration
2. Selection	February: Feedback from the Goethe-Institut and online seminar preparation
3. Application phase with seminars	March: Invitation to the seminar from the Goethe-Institut April: Multi-day preparatory seminar in person (behaviour in the workplace, job interviews, preparing application documents, etc.) June: Allocation of internship positions
4. Internship phase	August: 3-week internship
5. Reporting phase	September: joint evaluation
