Continuing Teacher Training
Every year the Goethe-Institut Cameroon organizes further training for DaF teachers in all regions of Cameroon. These teacher-training courses are carried out in cooperation with the Cameroonian multiplier Network, which was trained by the Goethe-Institut. A central focus for the year 2022 is the topic of digitization. This year, further training courses will be offered as face-to-face events in the various regions.
Each year, BKD teacher camps are held over several days, in which participating teachers the opportunity to expand and deepen their knowledge and skills in the areas of language, didactics, and methodology.
We also offer the following online continuing education formats:
Tips and tricks for online lessons in 30 minutes
What? Online seminar in a short 30-minute format on the use of
tools and apps in a class
Who? Colleagues who took part in the ‘’teaching with tools and
Apps’’ training course last year
When? Wednesdays at 4 p.m. via video conference
Online seminars for secondary school teachers of German as a foreign language in 90 minutes
What? Online seminars in an interactive 90-minute seminar format for
digital teaching
Who? Seminar management by the multiplier network
When? Every first Friday of the month at 7 p.m. via video conference

For both online formats, registration is digital, followed by confirmation and the link to the zoom session.
