The Long Night of Reading

Each of us has a book in his/her drawer, but sometimes lacks motivation, time and the right setting for a good read. Sometimes all these conditions are present, but we do not have the book and we do not know/where to find that book we have been looking for.
The Long Night of Reading aims to create a warm and friendly atmosphere for reading at the Goethe-Institut Kamerun and also wants to bring together people who are passionate about reading. In the night of Saturday 23th january 2026, from 7 p.m. until dawn, reading enthusiasts will meet to read and discuss about the content of their reading and share their reading experience. Feel free to bring your own books to read or to share with other readers. Thus you can also benefit from other people’s books.

Access is free, but registration helps to us arrange the layout of the spaces.
