The Goethe-Institut Cyprus is offering two scholarships for the Goethe-Institut’s online training courses. The courses are aimed at teachers of German as a foreign language in Cyprus who wish to develop their methodological and teaching skills in the field of German as a foreign language.

Closing date: 31.05.2026
 

Our online group training courses provide:

  •  basic knowledge of teaching methodology and didactics for German as a Foreign Language (GFL) or German as a Second Language (GSL)
  • or offer in-depth training on selected topics, such as media didactics
  • or the language development of specific target groups.
The content is covered through a combination of self-study and group work, supported by a qualified tutor. The courses take place entirely online, offer flexible learning times and are led by experienced trainers.

If you are interested in one of the two scholarships, please send the following documents until bis 31.05.2026:
  • letter of motivation (1 page)
  • CV
  • details of your current employment as a German as a Foreign Language (DaF) teacher or your DaF studies
  • the training course and dates you wish to attend to
