The Weeks of the German Language are organized annually by the Embassies of Austria, Germany and Switzerland and the Goethe-Institut Cyprus.
This year the Weeks of the German Language will begin on 10th November 2025 and conclude on 29th November 2025. During this time, a series of activities and events related to the German language and the culture of each country will take place in Nicosia, Limassol and Paphos: literary events, film screenings, concerts, lectures, culinary events and more.
This year’s theme, “Stimmen & Geschichten” (Voices and Stories), highlights everyday narratives and diverse perspectives that have shaped society—both in German-speaking countries and in Cyprus. Through a vibrant programme of events, the initiative aims to foster dialogue, celebrate diversity, and inspire reflection.
