The Goethe-Institut Cyprus supports the participation of the trio Bobby Rausch from Berlin at the 8th Windcraft Music Fest, which will take place on 5-7 August 2022 at Katydata (Nicosia district).

Mixing digital and analogue, composition and improvisation, Bobby Rausch is the sound of young Berlin. The trio consists of bass-clarinetist Lutz Streun, baritone saxophonist Oleg Hollmann and drummer Nico Stallmann. The three band members create sound variations that are as unpredictable as the band formation itself. From instrumental hip-hop and jazz to electro beats and grunge riffs - there are no restrictions in the exploration of sounds. Bobby Rausch have succeeded in working their way around genre boundaries in an exciting and progressive way.

Organised by the non-profit organization Windcraft Loud, the Windcraft Music Fest has a special focus on wind instruments. This year’s edition will include an impressive line up from Brazil, Germany, Israel, Italy and Cyprus as well as an interactive parallel programme with workshops, performances, installations and more.
