Lagos is with 15 million people Africa's most populated city south of Cairo. A stream of migrants is attracted by Lagos`s reputation “this is the place to make it!”. The film features six protagonists and their daily lives. Following the rhythm and the energy of the city through the stream of traffic, to the workplaces and centers of commerce, religion and music, the film encounters the force of believe and the musical and spiritual heritage of Fela Kuti. Lagos portraits the energy of human hopes and human movements within an urban African society at the beginning of the 21st century.
