Mohammed Abdulkhaleq (b. 1990 in Ibb, Yemen) is a creative director, a university lecturer at various Yemeni universities in the fields of graphic design and photography, and a branding specialist designer. His photography journey began in 2014. Despite the challenges posed by the ongoing conflict in Yemen, Mohammed persevered with personal dedication, self-study, and a profound passion for capturing Yemen's diverse cultural heritage. His project aims to document Yemen's rich tapestry of cultures artistically, contributing to tourism promotion. Additionally, Mohammed has a keen interest in photographing Yemen's wildlife, birds, and insects, earning him recognition as the first Yemeni photographer specialising in macro and bird photography. Mohammed was also a featured speaker at TEDx Sana'a 2022, where he discussed photography and wildlife in Yemen. He achieved further acclaim by winning the Yemeni culture photography competition Tadhamon Bank Contest in 2015.
