As a part of the project "Solitude – Silence, Self-Care and Creativity" we present a series of solo  performances by experimental artists.

On Dec 7th, Seiichi Yamamoto performs a solo set that artist, audience, and staff all experience while lying down. Please bring a pillow. Yoga mats and sleeping bags or blankets also recommended. Limited admission.

Seiichi Yamamoto
Musician, writer, and painter, born in Hyogo Prefecture, now living in Kyoto. Since 1986, he has been active as a composer and guitarist in the alternative band “BOREDOMS” (released by Warner in the US). Yamamoto performs at various music festivals around the world and is active internationally as a songwriter, composer, and producer, regardless of genre. In addition to his solo career, he plays in numerous bands/groups, including “ROVO,” “Rashinban,” “Omoide Hatoba,” “PARA,” “MOST,” “TEEM,” “Ya-to-i,” and “NOVO-TONO.” Yamamoto has also composed various soundtracks, including for Masaaki Yuasa's animated film “MIND GAME,” Takashi Miike's “1 the killer,” and Fumiyasu Yaguchi's “Adrenaline Drive.” In addition, he continues to be active as an author, writing for literary magazines and working as a painter.
