SOLITUDE
Sound Performances and Exhibition|Silence, Self-Care and Creativity
The theme of “loneliness” is highly present in contemporary social discourse. As familial bonds lose their significance as the primary framework for social life, traditional societal structures are beginning to falter and must be redefined. In this context, reflections on loneliness are often accompanied by descriptions of a state of crisis.
Yet, does the experience of distancing oneself from society and being “alone” not also offer space for sharpening and enriching one’s own perception? The project “Solitude – Silence, Self-Care and Creativity” explores the creative potential of solitude through an interdisciplinary program that includes an exhibition, live concerts, and performances. Independent artists from various genres present works that playfully engage all five senses, enhancing our awareness of ourselves and our surroundings. Through intuitive, artistic approaches to the theme, we aim to re-explore the significance of solitude, silence, and withdrawal from a contemporary perspective and enhance reflection about its creative and healing dimensions.
