Open Call: Curatorial Assistant (M/W/D)

Within & Beyond: Reimagining Art across Distances (September 2025 – January 2026)

Goethe-Institut Myanmar invites applications for a Curatorial Assistant diverse backgrounds to support the multi-disciplinary visual arts project “Within & Beyond: Reimagining Art across Distances”, culminating in exhibitions in January 2026. 
We welcome applications from Myanmar emerging curators based in Myanmar, Southeast Asia, Germany, or other international locations who are passionate about contemporary visual art and eager to gain hands-on experience in curatorial practice through collaboration with artists and curators from Myanmar and beyond.

Skill Up Training – Loose Parts Play for AoCA Alumni

Goethe-Institut Myanmar, through the Academy of Care, is partnering with FIN Myanmar and Think Playgrounds from Vietnam to organize a Loose Parts Play Skill Up Training for AoCA alumni, taking place from 27 August to 6 September 2025.
The training will be conducted in a hybrid format—both in-person and online—and will be hosted at the Goethe-Institut Myanmar. It will cover key topics such as child development, trauma-informed care, and play-based learning. By the end of the program, alumni will be equipped to design and lead their own locally adapted community play events.
