The Goethe-Institut Namibia is seeking a café for its new premises from August 2026.
Located in the garden area of the new Goethe-Institut at 6 Simeon Shixungileni Street, corner Kulz Street (former Markuskirche), the space comprises a kitchen area of approximately 20 m² and an inviting outdoor seating area shaded by mature trees, offering a calm and pleasant setting. As a designated café for rent, the space allows for a food-led concept with a concise menu, complemented by beverages. A light German or European culinary orientation is welcome; the ability to integrate elements of local cuisine would be a strong asset.
All necessary connections are in place in the kitchen area; equipment and furnishings are to be provided by the operator.
The establishment will serve visitors, course participants, and staff of the Goethe-Institut and is equally intended to attract guests from the surrounding neighborhood and our partner organizations. It is envisioned as a welcoming meeting place for a diverse audience and as a potential partner for catering during cultural events.
