Our Projects

In the frame of Kultursymposium Weimar 2023
Trust for an inclusive Nigeria

For this year's Kultursymposium <<A Matter of Trust>>, we are staging the play, The Gods Are Strange by Bukola Ayinde, in two communities here in Nigeria, namely the Corona Secondary School in Agbara and in Jos at the Jardin reading garden.

Book Party

We invite you to join us and discover these and many other amazing works by both Nigerian and foreign authors. There will be book discussions after each performance, both as a collective and privately with other attendees.

Robot in residence

The residency program has been successful in achieving its objectives. The NAO robot was programmed to identify tribal marks, explain them, and engage in dialogue with users on the topic. The robot was also able to engage in conversations about African proverbs and riddles.

Photo Docuementary

Goethe-Institut’s Library on the Go, in collaboration with Hassan Abiodun, a Lagos based
photographer, is a photo series which celebrates the under-acknowledged readers of Lagos.
These are not big scholars, or professors, or business magnates or even renowned book
