Cultural partnerships between West Africa and Europe promote diversity, dialogue and sustainable development , with festivals as a platform for meeting and innovation.
West Africa ComponentThe Africa-Europe Partnerships for Culture: West Africa component (2025-2028) project promotes cultural cooperation between 15 West African countries (Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Côte d'Ivoire, The Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Togo) and the European Union. The aim is to strengthen regional and intercontinental networks - in particular through the internationalisation of the festival sector. The project is funded by the EU and implemented by the Goethe-Institut. It supports artists, festival organisers and cultural actors, through qualification, promotion and international visibility.Explore more of our opportunities here:
