Jonas Lüscher

(born 22.10.1976 in Schlieren near Zurich), writer, essayist.

Jonas Lüscher trained as a primary school teacher, but then worked as a dramaturge in the German film industry. From 2005 to 2009, he completed studies at the Munich School of Philosophy and was a freelance editor. Afterwards he worked as a research assistant and ethics teacher. His 2013 debut, Frühling der Barbaren, a novella, received several awards and was nominated for both the German and Swiss Book Prizes. Jonas Lüscher lives in Munich.
