Linda Maroy is a versatile actress from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) active in poetry, playwriting and acting.
Her debut play "Rien ne vous oblige à faire de ma peine une chanson" will be performed at our institute one week after International Womens' Day. It deals with the topic of gender-based and sexualized violence in the educational system in the DRC.
The play is a monologue and includes poetry as well as acting. After the performance there will be a Q&A-session with the artist.
