We are happy to invite you to the next episode of our weekly film screening. This week we are back with two films!
The locally produced short film "Kazungu" directed by Yuhi Amuli, a Rwandan filmmaker, which won the silver-back award for Best Rwandan film and was screened at multiple film festivals around the world and the Deutsche Welle documentary “Africa’s looted art”, which broach the urgent issue of restitution and cultural heritage.
Afterwards, we are looking forward to exchange about the questions of cultural identity and belonging as well as consequences of (German) colonialism.
