Youth Course 2025: Hana's Trip to Austria
In ihrer Präsentation berichtet Hana von ihren schönsten Momenten und Erfahrungen – vom Sprachunterricht über spannende Gruppenaktivitäten bis hin zu einem unvergesslichen Ausflug nach Salzburg.
The whole trip was absolutely fantastic! I definitely improved my German, which makes me so happy. The supervisors there were always friendly, humorous, cheerful and fun to be around. We also had German lessons every day, except at the weekend.
We did lots of different activities and games every day after dinner, for example: Murder Mystery (which was great fun), Scavenger Hunt, a cinema night (we watched a comedy film called Fack Ju Göhte), sports and challenges (e.g. youth vs. supervisors – unfortunately it was a draw). We also had to make a short film as a group. Unfortunately, my team didn't win. My group made a horror film, but personally I think it's funny rather than scary.
Now I'll talk about my favourite part of the whole trip... Salzburg
First, we went to Hellbrunn and a water park nearby. Both were very green and charming. We saw lots of statues and colourful flowers.
Then we went to Mozartplatz and had three hours of free time in Salzburg. I felt very free and content. I bought lots of souvenirs and other things, took photos and, of course, explored the sights. I visited Mirabellplatz on my own and also crossed the Salzach River.
It's an impressive memory that I will never forget.
