The GOETHE-INSTITUT SAUDI ARABIA, based in Riyadh, is looking for a dedicated full-time
SECURITY GUARD (SAUDI NATIONAL)
In this position, you will be part of a dedicated team and responsible for the security of the Goethe-Institut in Saudi Arabia.
What you can expect:
- Monitoring and securing the premises during opening hours and at events
- Making rounds and regularly checking security systems (e.g. doors, windows, alarm systems)
- Acting as a point of contact for visitors and employees on security matters
- Initiating measures in emergencies (e.g. first aid, alerting the police or fire brigade)
- Monitoring compliance with house rules and resolving conflicts if necessary
- Documentation of security-related incidents
What you bring to the table:
- Experience in security or safety is an advantage, but not essential
- Reliability, a sense of responsibility and a friendly manner
- Good communication skills and ability to deal with conflict
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends
- Basic first aid skills desirable
- Written and spoken Arabic and English, German skills are an advantage
