EU4Culture II: Open Call for Proposals for Cultural & Creative Organisations in Ukraine Olesia Saienko

Strengthening Cultural Intermediary Roles

Goethe-Institut within the EU-funded EU4Culture II programme invites Ukrainian Cultural and Creative Organisations to participate in theStage I of Open Call for Proposals to develop concrete and testable value propositions.

The call is designed for organisations such as cultural networks, associations, unions, umbrella organisations, creative hubs, clusters, alliances, platforms, advocacyorganisations, and other actors that already play, or have the potential to play, a wider intermediary role within cultural and creative ecosystems.

Selected applicants will receive financial support of up to EUR 9,000 to develop structured and testable value propositions responding to concrete needs within cultural and creative ecosystems. Upon successful completion of Stage I, grantees will be invited to a restricted Stage II call, with funding of up to EUR 60,000, to refine and implement the value propositions developed during Stage I.

Selected applicants of Stage I will receive:

  • financial support of up to EUR 9,000; 
  • mentoring and capacity development support; 
  • International Networking Opportunities.

How to apply

Applications must be submitted in English through the Goethe Application Portal no later than 20 July 2026, 23:59 CEST. For detailed eligibility requirements, application procedures and grants conditions, please refer to the Application Guidelines.

Information session

Questions regarding the open call can be sent by email to eu4culture@goethe.de before 9 July 2026, 23.59 CEST. Online Information Session with interested applicants on the preparation of the applications will be held on 07 July 2026 at 12:00(Ukraine time). Registration is required to attend the session and can be completed via the following link.

Applicants are encouraged to align their proposals with efforts to strengthen cultural and creative ecosystems in Ivano-Frankivsk and Lviv regions, particularly in the fields of performing arts, music, audiovisual, design, digital/media,andcreative innovation.

Background Information

EU4Culture II – Sustainable Creative Ecosystems is a regional programme funded by the European Unionw ith a EUR 10 million budget and implemented by the Goethe-Institut. Recognised as a Flagship action under European Commission's Culture Compass for Europe, the programme will strengthen the cultural and creative sectors as drivers of economic growth, social cohesion and resilience across the Eastern Partnership (EaP).
