EU4Culture II: Open Call for Proposals for Cultural & Creative Organisations in Ukraine Olesia Saienko

Stärkung der Rolle der Kulturvermittler

As part of the EU-funded EU4Culture II programme, the Goethe-Institut invites Ukrainian cultural and creative organisations to participate in the first phase of the call for proposals to develop concrete and verifiable value propositions.

The call is open to organisations such as cultural networks, associations, associations, umbrella organisations, creative centres, clusters, alliances, platforms, advocacy groups and other actors that already play an overarching intermediary role in cultural and creative ecosystems or have the potential to do so.

Selected applicants will receive financial support of up to €9,000 to develop structured and verifiable value propositions that respond to concrete needs within cultural and creative ecosystems. After successful completion of the first phase, the grantees will be invited to a second, limited call for proposals, in which funding of up to EUR 60,000 will be available for the further development and implementation of the value propositions developed in Phase I.

The selected Phase I applicants will receive:

  • financial support of up to EUR 9,000;
  • mentoring and capacity development activities;
  • international networking opportunities.
Applications must be submitted in English via the Goethe Application Portal by 20 July 2026, 23:59 CEST at the latest. Detailed information on the admission requirements, the application procedure and the funding conditions can be found in the application guidelines.

Questions about the call for proposals can be sent to eu4culture@goethe.de by e-mail by 9 July 2026 at the latest. An online information session to prepare the applications will take place on 7 July 2026 at 12:00 (Ukrainian time). Registration is required and can be done via the following link.

Applicants are encouraged to focus their proposals on strengthening the cultural and creative ecosystems in the Ivano-Frankivsk and Lviv regions, especially in the fields of performing arts, music, audiovisual, design, digital/media and creative innovation.
