Mai Phương Kollath’s journey in Germany began in 1981 as a contract worker in Rostock. She uses her own experiences as a migrant in Germany not only as a trained therapist to guide and advise individuals and political institutions on intercultural topics but also in her work as an actress in well-known German productions[GM(p1] [MT2] . Her tireless commitment to the topic of integration led to her participation as the only migrant of Vietnamese origin at several of Chancellor Merkel’s integration summits between 2006 and 2010 at the Chancellery. She actively contributed to the creation of the National Integration Plan for Germany.
