No More Cash Payments Starting October 15, 2025
Please be informed that starting from October 15, 2025, the Goethe-Institut Ho Chi Minh City will no longer accept cash payments. This change has been introduced to:
- Enhance the safety of our guests and staff
- Ensure faster and more transparent payment processing
- Align with modern cashless standards
- Bank transfer
- Credit card (Visa, MasterCard)
From September 1, 2024, registration for exams at the Goethe-Institut Ho Chi Minh City is done directly on the website.
Information on when new exam dates will be open for booking can be found in our webshop by choosing the level A1-C2 that suits you. Bookings will open at midnight (00:00) on the specified date.

The fee for the exam has to be transferred to the account of the Goethe – Institute Ho-Chi-Minh-City:
All bank fees charged for the transfer are to be paid by the customer.

The Goethe-Institute Vietnam would like to warn you that there are fraudulent providers who claim to sell solutions to Goethe-Institute exam rates and fake certificates. These people are not associated with the Goethe-Institute and they do not have access to official exam materials.
Please note that distribution and purchase of such materials is illegal. Cheating on an exam will result in a ban from taking further exams. The German foreign representations (embassy, consulate general) can also block you from applying for a visa if you present a forged certificate when applying for a visa.
Protect yourself and do not accept fraudulent offers. Please inform us of any fraudulent attempt (Pruefung-Saigon@goethe.de). Thank you for your support!
