Mahamoudou Nacanabo
Mahamoudou Nacanabo is the Project Team Leader for the EU initiative "Africa-Europe Partnership for Culture: West Africa" since March 1, 2025. He is an expert in cultural project management and development. He holds a university degree in Cultural Project Design and Development from Senghor University in Alexandria, a Master’s degree from the Normandy Business School, and the European Diploma in Cultural Project Management from the Marcel Hicter Foundation for Cultural Democracy.Since 2022, Mahamoudou Nacanabo has worked as Project Coordinator at the Goethe-Institut Burkina Faso, where he is responsible for managing and coordinating cultural initiatives aimed at fostering cultural exchange between Germany and Burkina Faso. In this role, he has managed a wide range of projects in the fields of art, education, and international cooperation, working closely with both local and international partners. His ability to successfully manage complex projects, lead multidisciplinary teams, and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets has made him a key figure in the cultural sector in Burkina Faso.
He is passionate about the development and democratization of culture in Africa, as well as the promotion of innovation and international cooperation within the creative industries.
