Where do I submit my application?
All applications have to be submitted through the Goethe Application Portal (GAP).
Please create a profile on time to familiarize yourself with the platform. Links to active calls are published on this page as they open. If you are experiencing technical difficulties with the portal, contact support.gap@goethe.de.

Can I apply for more than one AEPC grant?
Yes. Applicants may apply to more than one call within the AEPC program, provided they meet the eligibility criteria for each. Receiving funding through a previous call does not disqualify you from applying again. However, the same project idea cannot be funded twice. Projects need to be further developed, scaled, or enhanced to be eligible for funding.

Which grant should I apply for?
AEPC is structured across several components, each with its own focus areas and target groups. Please monitor the website closely to identify which call is most relevant to your work and location. If you are unsure, contact the relevant component team before submitting.

How do I find out about upcoming grants?
Calls are published on this page as they open. Follow Goethe-Institut channels and check regularly for announcements. You can also sign up for our newsletter to be notified when new calls go live.

I cannot populate the budget template. What should I do?

If the problem persists, contact EUP-SSA@goethe.de at least 7 days before the deadline, as emails will not be answered in the last week before the deadline. Submissions without budgets will be considered incompleteand rejected.

Who is eligible to apply?
Eligibility varies by call and component. Each open call includes a detailed list of eligibility criteria. Read this section carefully before beginning your application. If you have a specific question about your eligibility, contact the relevant component team directly.

What happens if I miss the deadline?
AEPC is unable to accept late applications. Deadlines are published in the call documentation and will not be extended. GAP will close as per the stipulated deadlines. If you anticipate a problem, contact the relevant component team before the deadline.
