Individual Mobility Grants for Artists and Cultural Professionals
Support for peer learning exchanges, creative practice, research, and creative output between artists and cultural professionals across Africa and Europe. Whether you're researching artistic practices, co-creating with international partners, developing new work, or participating in residencies, this scheme removes barriers to creative mobility.Who can apply: Individual artists, cultural workers, curators, and researchers from any creative discipline—theatre, visual arts, writing, film, music, dance, photography, and digital practices. Both emerging and established practitioners welcome.
What we support: Research informing artistic work, collaborative projects with international partners, development of new creative work, residencies, participation in cultural events, and professional development connected to your creative practice. Your mobility must clearly advance your artistic development and demonstrate genuine partnerships in your destination.
Where you can go: Primarily Africa-Europe exchanges and intra-African travel. You must be based in Sub-Saharan Africa or an EU country to apply.
Financial support: Travel, accommodation, daily allowances, and project costs. Additional support for applicants with caring responsibilities, accessibility needs, or environmentally conscious travel choices
