As part of the CYCLE UP! project and in cooperation with the library of the Goethe-Institut, we invite you to a day full of pre-Christmas activities at the Goethe-Institut on Saturday, 29 November. We have prepared creative workshops, Christmas music, events for children, a reading of Christmas stories and games for young and old. During the event, we will be focusing on the reuse of recyclable materials and upcycling.

‘Sweet’ workshop for children: Mexican author Laura Elena Rodrigez Garcidueňas tells the story of how sustainable chocolate is made – including a little tasting session.
Make notebooks from recycled materials under the guidance of the SKOBA workshop.
Make Christmas wrapping paper from old newspapers from the library. Print Christmas motifs on the newspapers with our potato stamps and avoid waste when wrapping gifts.
