Dobrý trh May 2025: The Art of Coexisting
May Good Market: ...because living together is Art!
The Good Market welcomed visitors on Saturday 10th May 2025 in the Panenská district in Bratislava.
The event was accompanied by culture and art, key tools for developing community life and deepening good relations. A good market has long created a space for dialogue, encounters, shared experiences and understanding.
Visitors saw, for example, an inclusive fashion show of clothing collections by students from the School of Design, the Hopi Hope social theatre, which features actors with disabilities. A glimpse into the world of emotions with author Iryna Zelyk or the story Stand Up for Yourself, in which puppets tell children how important it is to stand up for yourself and for all those who need it.
Visitors could also take part in a number of workshops, a quiz on food waste, make a wallet from waste banner material, or custom print their own t-shirt with their chosen motto using screen printing. There were also the usual cycling activities, such as a cyclopoint with cycling vendors and communities, cycling merch (t-shirts or bike bags made from waste materials), or a participatory activity with the poet Šimpe Pisár.
