Globales Lokal: Sustaining Creativity.
How can artist residencies be made more sustainable? What challenges arise in practice, and which approaches have already proven effective? These questions will be explored in the online session of the “Globales Lokal” series.
The session will focus on introducing the guidelines “Sustaining Creativity: An Authentic Guide to Sustainable Residencies” which will be presented during the event.
As our speakers, we are pleased to welcome Lena Fließbach, a curator from Berlin, and Leonel Henckes, Director of the residency center Vila Sul in Brazil. Drawing on their experience with sustainable residency programs, they will discuss current challenges and share practical approaches to making artist residencies more resource-efficient and future-oriented.
Following the discussion, participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage directly with the guests. We warmly invite all staff members to join the session and gain valuable insights into sustainable cultural work in an international context.
