Urban Echos Festival - first edition

Urban Echos Festival - first edition

The first edition of Urban Echo is a celebration of urban life that escapes the rigid frames of masterplans and designated routes. It is an ode to wandering – conscious, mindful movement on foot or by bike, alone or accompanied by artists, researchers, and fellow city dwellers. The festival invites participants to explore overlooked places – thickets, fringes, forgotten alleys, and the wild corners of the metropolis.

Urban Echo not only listens to the echoes of the city but also creates new ones – through sound, scent, image, and words. Between July 1 and 13, we invite you to join events that activate the senses and encourage a fresh perspective on the urban environment: as a space of community, a temporary refuge, a stage, a garden, and at times – a site of resistance. The festival moves across the Upper Silesian–Zagłębie Metropolis.
