You can try your hand in our online quiz, join our online speak-dating, participate in a radio competition on radio Impuls from September 21 to September 25 to win one of 5 Kindle readers. You can also visit Kampus Hybernská (Hybernská 4) to attend programme called „Good translation is invisible“, focusing on literary translation, subtitling, dubbing. The booking system for this year’s online Speak-dating is online and running.
This means that you can once again try individual mini-lessons of almost 35 European and world languages. You can book up to 4 lessons at bit.ly/rezervace-denjazyku and on Tuesday 22/09 between 4 and 8 p.m., you can connect with your private teacher of…. Well, it is up to you.
We will send you the link for your video-meeting(s) well in advance before the event.
ATTENTION!!! Please connect well in advance and make sure not to exceed the 6-minute time limit – we need your help with time-keeping this year. Enjoy your speak-dates!

Could not make it in person? Do not worry! Last year we streamed 4 selected languages online. This year we are going to stream 6 languages. Watch the FB event and vote for your favourite language.
Not from Prague? No problem, the European Day of Languages takes place all over Europe. For more events just check here.
What is speak-dating?
Speak-dating consists of 5-minute language “classes” in different selected languages. The lecturers are able to adapt to your level. You can practice your existing language skills or try out a completely new foreign language on your way home from work or from a shopping spree.
