With its approximately 700 members, the association promotes development cooperation, vocational and adult education, and student support. One of its main goals is to identify and solve the problems of the Cameroonian and African community, both internally and externally, using the expertise of its student and professional members. The members support African students studying engineering with their own experiences and accompany them from their very first day in Germany. The program is complemented by a mentoring program and the VKII Best Student Award.
