In episode 5, entrepreneur and chef Nhung Trinh shows us her workplace. She came to Germany from Vietnam as a child. She trained as a chef and now runs three restaurants.

In episode 4, we visit teacher Yichun Wang. She came to Germany to study. Now she teaches calligraphy and Chinese on a freelance basis.

In episode 3, we meet carpenter Tristan Simpson in his workshop. He came to Germany eight years ago. In his native Australia, he worked as an electrician. Now he builds furniture from old wood.

In episode 2, we meet Mariia Corbe, a doctor. She studied medicine in Russia and has been living in Germany for two years. She is now having her degree recognised so that she can work as a doctor here.

In episode 1, car mechanic Mehmet Yildiz takes us to his workplace. He came to Germany from Turkey at the age of 17. Now he is a master mechanic and has his own car repair shop.
