Hoàng Tuấn is active in traditional music as a performer, with special knowledge of instruments: nugget, tam, and ty. He is founder of the project, Music Exchange, in Huế.

An active band member within various traditional ensembles, he has participated in Huế traditional royal music festivals from 200 – 2018. He studied traditional music at the Huế Intermediate School of Culture, and Art and Music Composition at Nue University of Arts.
